The Greek roots of the word photography translate as "writing with light." Welcome to my studio--a place to practice and illuminate good work using writing and photography.

I'll leave you trailer trash
If you leave this life without saying goodbye please visit me and leave a surprise on my deck. Send a hummingbird that hovers long enough near the pink petunia I can hear its wings whisper your name, or better still a grey squirrel wearing your favorite earrings just to make me laugh. And I swear should I die without notice I will surprise you with bachelor buttons where you planted sweet peas, a heart shaped rock in your shovel or trailer trash where your sprinkler used to be.
